Along the long mountain road, visitors can stop from time to time to look at the sky and the sky in the distance, and feel what is called light and light. At sunset, watching the old man stone, the green hills, the black rocks, the blue waters and the vagaries of the flaming sky form an excellent landscape painting.

Edinburgh Castle is a symbol of Edinburgh and even the spirit of Scotland. It stands on the top of an extinct volcanic rock. It overlooks the city of Edinburgh and hosts the Military Tattoo every August. It also reveals the majestic atmosphere of Edinburgh Castle. Edinburgh is not built on the top of an extinct volcanic rock at an altitude of 135 meters. It has a slope and three cliffs. As long as you hold the gate of the castle on the slope, it will be solid and the enemy will have nothing to do with it. Edinburgh Castle became a royal fortress in the 6th century and has since become an important royal residence and national administrative center. Those who travel to Edinburgh will not miss Edinburgh Castle, which is visible in every corner of the city centre.

[ Prince Street ]

Prince Street is also known as "Prince Avenue". It is only one mile long. The gorgeous and modern shops are divided into two cities, New and Old. On the south side is a verdant green land. At the end of the east is the Prince Street Garden, the north is divided into a new city, and the south is the old city. There is a long hill between the new and old cities, and the natural barriers are distinct. Princes Street is known as the “world's best road”.

Pre-Departure Preparation:

1). Clothing: Your clothing should be suitable for the season. The UK climate is typically 0–5°C in winter and 20–26°C in summer, with a 10-15°C difference between morning/evening temperatures. Pack light and comfortable clothing. The weather in Scotland is colder than in England, so please bring one or two thicker outfits. Weather forecast: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2650225.
2). Time Difference: The UK is 7 hours ahead of Beijing time in summer, and 8 hours ahead in winter.
3). Essential Items: Please bring your own toiletries, slippers, as Western hotels typically do not provide these for environmental and hygiene reasons. Pack items such as an umbrella, camera, sunglasses, and skincare products as needed. Additionally, please ensure to bring a plug adapter for your electronic devices.
4). Medications: In Europe, you need a doctor’s prescription to buy medicine, and healthcare is expensive. It is advisable to bring along any common medications you may need.
5). Currency: Expenses in the UK are settled in GBP. Most merchants accept card payments. To avoid any issues with your bank card, please carry some cash (about £30-50 per day) for tips, optional attraction tickets, and emergencies.
6). Luggage: Due to limited space on the tour vehicle, please ensure that your main luggage does not exceed one piece. The maximum luggage size is 28 inches: 76cm (length) x 51cm (width) x 32cm (height), with a weight limit of 30kg. If your luggage exceeds these specifications, please contact us with the exact dimensions (length/width/height) and weight for approval to avoid delays on the departure day. It is recommended to store large luggage at a nearby train station or bus station and retrieve it after the tour, at your own expense. The tour guide and driver have the right to refuse to carry oversized luggage, and we are not responsible for any resulting disputes. Please try to pack lightly, and keep valuable items or luggage with you at all times. We are not responsible for any damage to luggage during handling. We recommend not bringing expensive or valuable luggage. In case of any damage or loss, please contact your insurance company for compensation.
7). Meeting Times & Locations: Please be sure to adhere to the meeting time and location as outlined in the itinerary. If adjustments are needed due to special circumstances, the tour guide will notify you accordingly. If you fail to arrive at the specified meeting time or return as required by the guide, the guide and driver will not be able to wait for you, and we will not provide transport. Any additional costs incurred will be your responsibility.

2. Transportation:

1). Driver and Tour Guide Service Hours: Typically, the driver and tour guide provide services from 09:00 to 19:00.
2). Driver’s Rest Periods: UK law has strict regulations regarding drivers’ working hours to ensure safety. Drivers are required to rest at suitable locations for 15-45 minutes during the journey. If the driver is unable to stop at scenic spots for a break, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
3). Onboard Etiquette: Smoking is prohibited on the tour bus. Please avoid eating foods with peels, such as fruits or ice cream, as well as strong-smelling foods like fish and chips, McDonald’s, or KFC. If you eat fruit or other odorless items, please wrap the leftover seeds or peels in paper and dispose of them in the trash bin, rather than leaving them on the bus.
4). Safety: For your safety, please wear your seatbelt while the bus is in motion and avoid moving around unnecessarily. If any injury occurs due to violations of these rules, neither the tour guide, driver, nor travel agency will be held responsible.
5). Bus Toilet Usage: The toilet on the bus is for emergency use only. Unlike UK public long-distance buses, which return to repair stations for cleaning, our tourist buses do not have the facilities for daily cleaning. Therefore, we strongly encourage passengers to use public restrooms at stops or attractions instead of the bus toilet. The reasons for this include:
• If the toilet becomes full, it cannot be used in an emergency.
• Using the bus toilet inevitably leaves odors, affecting the comfort of the bus environment.
We generally stop every 2 hours at rest stations or scenic spots, so please use the public restrooms there.
6). Front Seat Reservation: Front seat reservations are available as an optional service, ensuring that you enjoy an excellent view throughout the journey and minimizing the chances of motion sickness. If you have not reserved a front seat, please kindly offer the first four rows to those who have on the day of departure.
7). Vehicle/Guide/Driver Changes: To coordinate different pick-up points and ensure the safety and smoothness of the trip, it is normal for vehicles, tour guides, and drivers to be changed during the tour. There will be no separate notifications. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

3. Hotels:

1). Hotel Rooms: Typically, hotels are 3-star standard with double rooms featuring two single beds (each bed approximately 75cm-90cm in width) and a private bathroom.
2). Additional Costs: Guests are responsible for any expenses beyond the hotel stay and breakfast, such as telephone calls, internet usage, paid TV programs, laundry, beverages, and luggage handling. If you’re unsure about any charges, please inquire with the hotel reception before consuming any services.
3). Paid TV Channels: Any TV channels with a “PAY” or “P” symbol are paid channels. Channels that require inputting your room number are also generally charged.
4). Internet Access: Internet access at the hotel requires an additional fee. For in-room internet, you will need to bring your own cable and computer. Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby or rooms typically costs £2-5 per hour.
5). Hotel Room Amenities: Rooms in 3-star hotels or similar typically include a kettle, television, telephone, hairdryer, shampoo, and internet port (internet access requires an additional charge). Toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers are not provided.
6). Hotel Facilities Usage: When using hotel facilities, please be aware that some may incur additional charges. Please take care of hotel property, as the group fee does not cover damages to hotel facilities. To avoid any disputes and delays, kindly take care of the hotel facilities during your stay.
7). No Smoking in Hotel Rooms: Smoking is prohibited in hotel rooms, as well as in public places like restaurants, transport vehicles, shopping malls, bars, and cinemas under UK law. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Violations of this law can result in fines (ranging from £200 to £2000) and, in some cases, the hotel may report the incident to the authorities. Guests who violate this rule will bear the consequences of the fines.
8). Breakfast Policy: The hotel provides a self-service breakfast, which can only be consumed in the hotel restaurant and cannot be taken out.

4. Meals:

1). Breakfast: The breakfast provided at the hotel may differ from the typical Chinese-style hot breakfast. Most 3-star hotels or similar standard hotels, such as Holiday Inn, usually offer a continental cold breakfast buffet, which typically includes one or two types of bread, coffee/tea, juice, jam, butter, and cold milk. If certain hotels offer additional services, such as complimentary full English breakfast or free Wi-Fi, these are considered extras provided by the hotel and are not guaranteed by us. Please note: The hotel breakfast buffet is only available for consumption in the hotel restaurant and cannot be taken out.
2). Lunch and Dinner: Lunch and dinner are not included in the tour package. The tour guide will recommend dining locations and options based on the itinerary, and guests can choose their preferred meal locations and pay for them independently. Lunch is usually arranged at scenic spots or highway rest stops, allowing free time for guests to have their meal. For dinner, guests may consider purchasing convenience food during daytime sightseeing to eat in the hotel room, or they can choose to order from the hotel’s contact information for Western or Chinese takeout, or dine at nearby restaurants.

5. Safety:

1). Personal Belongings: Please carry cash, identification, and valuables with you at all times. It is not recommended to leave these items in the hotel or on the tour bus. Safeguarding your personal belongings is your responsibility. Neither the driver, tour guide, hotel, nor our travel agency are obligated to watch over personal property. In case of damage, loss, theft, or any other incidents involving personal belongings, you will bear the risk and responsibility.
2). Travel Insurance: To ensure your safety and the security of your belongings during the trip, we highly recommend purchasing personal travel insurance. This will help protect your rights in case of incidents such as illness or the loss of personal property.

Warm Reminders:

1). Customs Departure Stamp: When departing Europe, be sure to check that the customs office has stamped your passport with a clear departure stamp. This is the only proof that you have left the country and returned to China. If the stamp is missing or unclear, the embassy may require an interview to cancel your visa, resulting in unnecessary losses. We regret that this responsibility rests with the traveler. Please be extra vigilant and ensure that this is done properly.
2). Room Assignments: In accordance with current tourism regulations, the agency reserves the right to adjust room assignments based on the final number of travelers in the group.
3). Shopping: Shopping is a personal activity, and our travel agency does not designate specific shopping locations. When shopping abroad, please keep the following points in mind:
• Carefully check the quality of items before purchasing to avoid issues with returns or exchanges.
• Please make rational purchasing decisions. Our agency and tour guides can only offer general recommendations, but your purchases are entirely your responsibility.
4). Luggage and Personal Items: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers personal belongings, luggage loss, and damage to important documents while traveling.

Warm Reminders:

• When loading luggage, you may ask the driver for assistance with lifting or carrying heavy items. Valuable items should be carried with you to ensure their safety.
• During the trip, always remember to take your personal belongings with you when leaving your seat. Do not leave items in the seat pockets or on the back of chairs.
• Upon arrival at the hotel, if needed, feel free to ask the driver for assistance with your luggage.
