However, the Montenegrin attractions took too much time to cross the border. We left Dubrovnik at 7pm and arrived at the Montenegrin hotel after 12pm that night. The border inspection has nothing to do with the tour guide, but it is recommended to cancel the Montenegrin attractions and arrange one more day of sightseeing in Dubrovnik. As a peer, I think the tour guide is really very attentive. There was plenty of free time, and I returned to the hotel on time every day. I didn't arrive at the hotel very late, and I had a good rest.
The hotel accommodation was also very satisfactory, especially in Europe, where the accommodation conditions are very different from those in China, and Croatia and Montenegro are not so developed. It is not easy to find such a good hotel. There were a few nights on the beach, which felt similar to the black sand beach in Santorini. There were not many people, and the scenery was great.
This trip to the Balkans made me experience the feeling of free travel. The scenery along the way was dazzling, whether it was the plain town under the Alps or the fjords of the Adriatic Sea, which made people very excited all the way. The tour guide also explained a lot of knowledge and history of this area in the car, which also broke my stereotype of the Balkans.
I like every city, every ancient city, and every country, especially Dubrovnik in Croatia. Since I am a fan of "Game of Thrones", I was very excited to see this ancient city. We also took a cruise. On the way, I saw that the price for individual tourists to take the boat was the same as that charged by the tour guide, so I didn't make any difference. It was very conscientious. Many of the attractions later were bought by the tour guide. I felt that the tour guide was really hard-working. He ran around in such a hot day, taking care of the emotions of the group members. Every time he arrived at a place, he told where the toilet was. He said the gathering time many times. He was very patient and very nice.
I like Split and Ljubljana, especially the caves. It was the first time I saw such a large cave. It was much larger than the caves in the UK, and it was worth the ticket price. I feel that these self-funded projects are must-go, otherwise it would be a pity.
Thanks to the tour guide, we passed a total of 6 customs. The tour guide is experienced and did not waste a lot of time. We saw that many other group tours did not pass customs as quickly as us.
In short, this trip was really touching. Not only did I take a lot of photos, I learned a lot of knowledge and history, felt the customs of different regions and cultures, and tasted a lot of food.
P.S. Many elderly people in this group have low quality. They often take the hotel's jam bags, but let the tour guide take the blame of the hotel; there are also group members who do not listen to the tour guide's dissuasion and insist on taking pictures when passing Montenegro and Croatia customs. It is shameful. The tour guide reminded them many times, but they still ignored them.....; and many uncles in the car held several SLRs, and the car was still walking around in the car to take pictures while driving on the highway. The tour guide reminded them several times that it was dangerous to do so, and there were many turns in some places, which was speechless; secondly, every time the tour guide started to explain, the uncle behind him started talking, and the voice was very loud, which prevented other group members from listening to the tour guide's explanation quietly. Many unpleasant things on this trip were caused by the low quality of the group members. When taking a boat in Ducheng, this group liked to take pictures very much. Every time they crowded to the same side to take pictures, the whole boat was unbalanced and very dangerous. The tour guide worked overtime every day, serving the group members almost 24 hours a day. I remember that one time, it was almost 12 o'clock, and a group member actually called the tour guide to go to the lobby in the group. The tour guide also responded. I think it is really not easy for a tour guide. To be honest, I really want to complain about those low-quality group members.
